What we commit to
Hiring a production partner in another country is a leap of faith. You are trusting your budget, your schedule and your client to people you have not met. So here is, in writing, what you get from us on every job, whatever its size.
Seven commitments
On every jobWhy we put it in writing
Said plainlyMost of the problems foreign productions describe to us from past shoots in France are not about talent or locations. They are about silence: a permit that was "in progress" until the day before, a budget line nobody explained, a fixer who handed the job to someone else. These commitments exist to remove exactly that.
They are not marketing promises we cannot check. The three-hour reply, the single producer and the early "no" are how FixersInParis has worked since Élie started fixing for foreign newsrooms in 2013, and how we ran more than 100 productions since, including three months of daily coverage for NBC Universal at the Paris 2024 Olympics, recognised with two Emmy Awards.
If we ever fall short of one of them on your job, tell us. Then hold us to it.
I really can't recommend Élie highly enough. He is the best fixer we have worked with, hands down. Extremely hard working, very flexible, and, most of all, brilliant.
I worked with Elie on a very tricky project for Evian in France. He was fantastic and we would not have been able to get the project done without him. We had a really tight budget and needed to cast a long list of local talent in France. Whenever I shoot in France, whether it be in Paris or elsewhere, Elie is the first person I call.
How fast does FixersInParis reply to a brief?
Within three hours at most. The reply comes from Élie or Zacharie Petit and says what is possible for your dates and locations, what is not, and what to decide first. For breaking news or a shoot tomorrow, call or WhatsApp +33 6 68 08 61 02.
Who will manage our production in France?
One of the two founders, Élie or Zacharie Petit, from the quote to the wrap. FixersInParis does not route clients through an account manager or hand the job to an unknown subcontractor.
What happens if a location or permit will not clear?
We say so at the bid stage, before it is budgeted or promised to your client, and propose an alternative: another location, another date, or another way to get the shot.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. Campaigns, talent and unreleased projects stay confidential, and we credit work as "client under NDA" when the client asks.
Tell us what you need to shoot.
Format, dates, locations, crew size. We come back within three hours with what is possible and what is not.
